C# Developer

The .NET developer position is a dynamic position involved in the design, development, coding, customization, configuration, testing, and deployment in support of enterprise solutions. The work will be centered primarily with advertising and social media data and in support of related custom applications in a distributed microservices serverless and  containerized architecture. Essential Functions

• Utilizes established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET Web APIs, Reactjs, and C# .NET Core

• Prepares and maintains code for various .NET applications and resolves any defects in systems

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (experience may be substituted for degree)

iOS Mobile Developer

The iOS Mobile Developer is responsible for analyzing, designing, testing and implementing mobile business applications. Functions include the development of Mobile native based applications using Objective-C for supporting current and future product development.  This position is based in NYC

•3 years experience building top tier iOS apps, minimum 2 years in ObjC

Senior DevOps Engineer

You will work with members of all other teams to help create and support local environments, design, build and automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines, and monitor production environments. JavaScript Developer


We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Community Support (CX) Specialist (Contract)


About the role 
We are looking for a motivated, outgoing Community Support (CX) Specialist to represent WeAre8. We are nothing without our community and work hard to bring them the best sponsorships possible, that’s why we need someone with excellent customer service skills to help make sure they are able to “get sponsored” by their favorite brands. This person will be reporting to the Director of Community Development,  working closely with our tech and data teams as well.

The key goals will include serving our growing community by responding to their questions, building and optimizing Zendesk and community experience processes, creating and managing a scalable solution to support millions of people internationally and accurately representing the WeAre8 brand to our community.

This is a part-time contract job, with the opportunity for a full-time role as Community Support (CX) Manager after 3-6 months.


RESPONSIBILITES

• Communicate directly with WeAre8 community members via phone and email, responding to inquiries and solving problems 

• Master our product and internal systems to offer effective solutions to community members issues through clear communication while enforcing WeAre8 policies

• Identify opportunities to retain community members, communicating clearly and effectively to all stakeholders in the organization

• Identify, communicate and prioritize any in-app or site issues with relevant internal teams

• Maintain a high satisfaction rating while hitting daily targets of customer responses

• Optimize and document help desk processes and responses to common questions

• Create and manage a plan to scale and grow help desk solutions internationally utilizing 3rd party services


REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience working in a customer service role (ideally at a technology or media related company)

• Patience and the ability to consistently maintain a professional demeanor even in stressful situations as well as effectively explain complex concepts to others who may be less technically savvy

• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Strong organization and documentation skills; all work documentation is captured in job ticket details and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for use by other members of the team

• Superior verbal and written communications skills as this role will be corresponding with all levels within the organization and producing internal processing documents

• Working knowledge of service desk software (Zendesk preferred)Ability to work 3+ hours per day at our NYC office
