Positive social platform WeAre8 has released its new AI Content Manifesto, reinforcing the company’s long-standing commitment to ethical technology, transparency and human creativity.
At WeAre8, creativity is seen as one of humanity’s greatest superpowers and technology, including AI, exists to amplify it, not replace it. The AI Content Manifesto sets clear principles for how AI should be used across the platform, inviting creators to label fully AI-generated work with #AIGenerated while celebrating human imagination, authenticity and intent as the true drivers of meaningful content.
The manifesto builds on WeAre8’s existing AI Shield which is a proprietary safety system that proactively detects and blocks illegal and harmful content and activity on the app. Together, they form part of WeAre8’s wider ethical AI framework designed to keep people safe while inspiring, fuelling and rewarding creativity in all its forms.
